Darcoid achieved certification to the IATF 16949:2016 standard in April 2021, which it maintains alongside its ISO 9001:2015 certification. Darcoid was an early adopter of the ISO standard. We were quick to realize the benefits of following what has now become a widely adopted standard which places such a strong emphasis on process conformity and continuous improvement.

IATF 16949 is the Technical Specification for quality management systems developed by the International Automotive Task Force (IATF) with the objective of improving the quality capability and the entire certification process throughout the automotive supply chain. The focus lies not on the discovery, but on the avoidance of errors.
